Dwayne Chattman and A.J. Lovett, along with other gifted artists are busy with the next hit TV series, "The Lockhavens", a dramedy that takes place in Philadelphia and is based on a family of powerful supernatural beings, from another dimension, reluctantly introducing a "mortal" woman to their way of life.

The pilot episode was directed by E. Geno Frazier, is shot in an interesting, innovative new style which clearly sets it apart from the others and can be seen at www.thelockhavens.com by clicking on SNEAK PEEK.

Love Reign Entertainment, along with Hummingbird Productions, are the Executive Producers of the project with Ross Hunt Productions and Juliette Sedlacek, who is also the production designer responsible for bringing out all the vibrant colors.

CHALLENGEs BET WITH NEW
NETWORK (BBTV)

Entertainment (BUSINESS) mogul
announces 2009 launch of family
friendly Better Black Television.
BBTV will focus on providing
“positive” viewing for the urban
community.

Although BBTV will be in direct
competition with BET he says he still
has “a great relationship” with the
network.

The network's advisory board includes:
Oscar winner Denzel Washington; Vault Load
Films president Jim Finkl; NAACP executive
director Vicangelo Bullock; NBA player Derek
Anderson; cable industry veteran Prof. Sal
Martino; hip-hop pioneer DJ Kool Herc;
entrepreneur Olatokunbo Betiku; and real
estate mogul Curtis Oakes.

The cable channel is in the process of
purchasing local cable channel affiliates
across the country. Production on BBTV's
programs has begun in California, New York,
Louisiana and Florida.
